Creating Sustainable Futures Innovation Fund Open
April 3 @ 8:00 am - April 21 @ 5:00 pm
The Creating Sustainable Futures (CSF) Innovation Fund has been established to encourage the development of teaching ideas that enhance the student experience within the CSF Discovery Theme (https://leedsforlife.leeds.ac.uk/Broadening/Theme/3) and, in particular, align with the University’s Living Lab Programme led by the Sustainability Service.
There are two calls – one for staff and one for students:
- Staff applicants are encouraged to develop proposals which aim at catalysing the development of teaching materials and methods. We envisage funds would be used for e.g. external speakers, podcasts, online material or case studies. Bids of up to £1000 will be considered. Bids will only be accepted from staff associated with current or future CSF Discovery modules. The Innovation Fund Application Form can be obtained from, and should be submitted to, Prof William Young firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday 21st April.
- Student applicants are encouraged to develop proposals which aim to design, pilot and showcase ways the campus can be used for teaching. We envisage funds would be used for, e.g. event organisation, materials or external speakers. Bids of up to £500 will be considered. The Innovation Fund Application Form can be obtained from, and should be submitted to, Dr Jen Dyer email@example.com by Friday 21st April.
Applicants will be expected to develop briefings that can be shared within the CSF Discovery Theme and wider as examples of good practice in broadening.
Projects should be carried out between May 2017 and December 2017. Successful applicants will be informed by Friday 28th April.
