Sustainable Garden Session

April 5 @ 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)
Weekly on the same day
Free

Bardon Grange is one of Leeds University Union’s community projects. We have a free regular weekly edible gardening session, open to everyone, at the Sustainable Garden in the middle of the University of Leeds’ campus.

A great way to get outside, meet people, and learn all about growing food! Whether you’re an experienced grower or have never touched a trowel before, we’ll share skills and learn from each other.

Each week we will have a variety of seasonal jobs to get on with to maintain our gardens. We try to make sure that you learn something new each time you come, and we always encourage people to taste things they may not have tried before and to take produce home with them.

Please dress in weather appropriate clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty. We provide tools, gloves, and tea and biscuits. These regular sessions are ‘drop-ins’; there is no obligation to stay for the whole session, come for what ever time works for you.

Wednesdays: 2pm – 6pm (2pm – 4pm from November until March) At the Sustainable Garden on Chancellor’s court, Leeds University campus, next to the Roger Stevens Building.
