Electric charging points
There are 6 electric charging points installed across campus. You can find these locations as well as other charging points in Leeds and nationally by using Zap-Map.
If you wish to use the charging points for your vehicle, the terminals use the ‘Charge your car’ service so you will need to obtain an access card from them you can do so by going on their site and registering your vehicle at Charge Your Car. Currently the price for an annual access card is £20 which will give you access to all charging points on the network.
Please note there is no cost for charging your car on the University of Leeds campus if you are a member of staff, student or visitor.
City Car Club: Electric Vehicle
The University of Leeds is one of very few Universities in the UK to have a 100% electric Car Club vehicle on campus. The electric vehicle (Nissan LEAF) available for hire through City Car Club on Cavendish Road (outside the Ziff Building). A fully charged Nissan LEAF battery has an official range of 90
miles, which meets more than 80% of average driving needs in Europe.
