Welcome to the University of Leeds Sustainability Service

The University has a clear responsibility to have a positive impact on society, something we take very seriously. The University resources staff with a budget for sustainability and will continue to maintain this into the future. Progress is measured on a continuous basis by the Sustainability Steering Group which is chaired by Dennis Hopper (Director) of the University’s Executive Group member with responsibility for Sustainability. The Sustainability Service work in partnership with other colleagues with sustainability responsibilities including the Unviersity’s Energy team, whose details can be found on the University’s Estates Services website.
