Lucy is responsible for embedding the travel and transport aspects of the Sustainability strategy across the University. This includes promoting sustainable travel options for staff and students while commuting, developing responsible business travel alternatives and increasing the University’s low-carbon fleet. Lucy also engages with organisations across Leeds to ensure a collaborative approach to sustainable travel across the whole region. As well as working with other team members to ensure sustainable practices are implemented across the University’s procurement and construction services.
Lucy has a vast amount of experience across the waste and agricultural industries. She brings with her detailed knowledge of carbon footprint assessments and emissions reporting. She is an experienced project manager, having developing Sustainability programmes for large UK retailers to reduce the environmental impact of their supply chain.
Lucy is a University of Leeds alumni, having studied Geography (B.A hons) from 2008 – 2011.
