About Michael

Michael is responsible for the day-to-day implementation of the University’s Environmental Management System (EMS), including managing an internal audit programme.  He is also responsible for the management of the Reuse@Leeds project, waste reporting, the implementation of our Biodiversity Action Plan and our internal Green Impact scheme.

Before joining the team, Michael worked in a variety of related disciplines including landscaping, forestry, academic research at the University of Nottingham and practical conservation and events management with Cheshire County Council (now Cheshire West and Chester Council).  Michael also has considerable experience of working with a variety of volunteer groups including vulnerable adults and children.
