Challenging the school governor stereotype with Governor Stories
October 19, 2018 @ 8:30 am - 10:00 am
This summer, Governors for Schools travelled across England to meet 32 school governors and hear their governor stories. Together, they make up a new campaign ‘Governor Stories’ – which celebrates the diversity of the skilled and committed people who contribute to effective school governance. The University and our partner’s Governors for Schools want to recruit more staff and alumni from diverse backgrounds and encourage people to volunteer their time to help schools make the right strategic decisions.
