The University of Leeds’ fourth Student Sustainability Research Conference will be taking place on Wednesday 26th February 2020. The conference aims to bring together students, staff, businesses and members of the public to experience the diversity of interdisciplinary student sustainability research which reflects social, economic, cultural and environmental elements.

Building on last year’s conference, this is an event not to be missed; an opportunity to experience the latest sustainability research and projects taking place at Leeds, to network, collaborate, develop meaningful contacts, and broaden your understanding of the challenges faced in a changing world.

The conference will consist of an all-day poster exhibition in Parkinson Court, along with breakout morning and afternoon presentation sessions and workshops. Expect to see updates from local projects on campus as part of the Living Lab programme, research taking place across the Leeds city region, and wider national and international sustainability projects having impacts across the globe.

We’ll be announcing our conference keynote speaker in due course so please keep a look out across our social media accounts for further information.

A full programme of the day’s events will be made available in the run-up to the event.

This event will be a single-use plastic-free event. Find out more about the University’s #2023PlasticFree pledge at
