About me
Tasha is the Sustainability Programme Officer for the Leeds Living Lab, which brings together students, staff and city partners to research and test sustainable solutions, enhance the curriculum and tackle global challenges using the University and communities as a test-bed.
Tasha has been at the University since 2015 - first as a postgraduate student studying the atmospheric impacts of a comet close encounter with the Earth. Next, she moved into the Student Education Service, working to support the success of under-represented and marginalised student groups in the Faculty of Engineering & Physical Sciences. Lastly she moved back into research, working as a post-doctoral research fellow in the School of Chemistry, using a global climate model to study upper-atmospheric phenomena.
Outside of work, Tasha enjoys silversmithing, hiking, yoga, gardening, and music.
