Location
Sustainable Garden, University of Leeds

Come along to one of our free biodiversity monitoring sessions to take a walk around campus, observe wildlife and record findings into a database. You don't need to have any experience, just a desire to learn more!

Campus biodiversity recording started as a living lab project to map campus pollinators, but has now expanded to include a wider range of species including birds, bats and small mammals. These are observed, recorded and then collected on the iNaturalist programme to form a database of wildlife on campus!

Open to anyone interested in biodiversity or wanting to build a stronger connection with nature, the session will begin at the sustainable garden (adjacent to the Roger Stevens building) at 11am - so be sure to wear weather-appropriate shoes and clothes!

Next biodiversity monitoring sessions:

Thursday 30th May 11am - 12pm

Tuesday 11th June 12pm - 1pm

Monday 17th June 12pm - 1pm
