Policies and standards
Policies and standards provide the practical mechanisms that help turn our commitments into action. They establish expectations, support compliance and ensure sustainability is embedded across our operations and management systems.
The University maintains an Environmental Management System (EMS) that supports the management of environmental responsibilities, legal compliance and continual improvement. This is complemented by policies and procedures across a range of areas including procurement, travel, estates, health and safety, human resources and investments.
Through these policies and standards, sustainability becomes part of everyday institutional decision making.
Current policies and procedures are linked below. Please note that the EMS links will generate unique up-to-date PDFs that will expire, so when referencing these documents, please link to this web page rather than the PDFs, or copy the link directly from this page.
