Lorraine is the strategy and engagement lead for the net zero principle of the University's Climate Plan. The delivering net zero principle aims to rapidly reduce emissions from University operations, including our estate and supply chain.

Responsible for supporting the delivery of the net zero principle of the University's Climate Plan, Lorraine's work includes projects to support the decarbonisation and energy efficiency of our estate, addressing scope 3 supply chain emissions and our approach to balancing emissions. With a background in communications and engagement, she identifies and supports behaviour change initiatives and works with colleagues from across the University to deliver engagement plans that support the aims of the net zero principle.

Lorraine is part of the Just Transition Task Force and Sustainable Travel working groups, as well as supporting student and staff engagement activity (such as our Sustainable Labs and Blueprint programmes) to embed climate action across the University.

She is a University of Leeds alum having graduated with an MSc in Sustainability and Business, and is a member of ISEP.
