Apply by 31st March 2022 for one of two exciting internship opportunities within the University of Leeds Sustainability service.

Our interns make a real difference at the University.  They support on important sustainability projects that include student and community engagement, biodiversity, our Blueprint programme, sustainable labs and the delivery of the University Climate Plan.  As an intern you will get hands on experience of sustainability in a complex institution, develop vital employability skills, and bring your own ideas and perspectives to the team.

Internships are open to current undergraduate students at the University of Leeds, and two roles are available from September 2022.

 Sustainability Communications and Engagement Assistant

Our Sustainability Communications and Engagement Assistant will be a proactive and creative individual who will support the delivery of our communications activities, events and engagement plan to embed sustainability across the University .  You will be excited about using communications to engage different audiences, influence behaviour change and make a positive difference.

Sustainability Projects Assistant

Our Sustainability Projects Assistant will get stuck in supporting in the delivery of key projects that embed sustainability across the University.  You'll have some experience of project delivery, strong communication skills and an ability to build effective working relationships across different stakeholders.  You'll be able to work independently and in a team, and will have the opportunity to influence change across the University.
