Cycle Repair Skills – Step 1: Looking after your bike
Look after your bike and it will look after you!
Regular maintenance will mean your bike runs smoothly, runs safely and reduces component wear, saving you money in the long run. In this free cycle repair skills class, you'll learn how to maintain your bike, including inflating tyres, cleaning, checking chain wear and lubricating parts.
The session will take place in the Bike Hub, located in the heart of campus between the EC Stoner and Roger Stevens buildings. No prior experience or knowledge required; our friendly bike experts Romain and Robyn will be there to guide you.
This is step 1 of the Cycle Repair Pathway: complete the repair pathway to gain your Cycle Repair Certification. We encourage you to bring your own bike along with you, but you can also learn on our hub bikes if that's not possible. Places are limited so booking is required to join this session. Only book if you will be free to attend at the specified date and time.
If you can no longer make it, please email [email protected] to let us know and we can offer your place to someone else.
