Join us for an morning of gardening at New Wortley Community Centre where we will be starting work to improve an important urban green space which will improve biodiversity and benefit the local community.

We will be meeting on campus at the bottom of Parkinson Steps at 10am where we have arranged for taxis to take us to the volunteering location at New Wortley Community Centre, which is on Tong Rd in the Armley area of Leeds. A free lunch will be provided - please let us know of any dietary requirements or allergies. Transport back to Parkinson steps will also be provided, arriving back at around 2:30pm.

Gloves and tools will be provided. Volunteers are required to wear appropriate footwear and clothing (trainers/boots and water proof jackets recommended).
