In this free bike maintenance session, you'll learn about truing wheels.

Wheel truing is the process of using a spoke wrench to change the tension of spokes to improve the straightness and roundness, or trueness, of the wheel. If a bicycle wheel is out-of-true (meaning not sufficiently straight or round) it can affect riding and shorten the life of a bike's components. That's why learning this skill is wheely important.

The session will take place at the Bike Hub, which is located in the heart of campus between EC Stoner and Roger Stevens Building.

No prior experience or bike knowledge required; our friendly bike experts Romain and Florence will be there to guide you. We encourage you to bring your own bike along with you, but you can also learn on our hub bikes if that's not possible.
