Campus Gardening Sessions - Every Wednesday

Schedule Update:
Every Wednesday, starting March 5th, 1-3pm
Join us for our weekly Campus Gardening Sessions, where we come together to nurture the Sustainable Garden at the University of Leeds. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or a complete novice, these sessions are a perfect opportunity to get outdoors, connect with nature, and contribute to the University's commitment to biodiversity and sustainability.
From planting and weeding to learning about sustainable gardening practices, there's always something to do. We’ve teaming up with The Edible Gardener, Caroline Scott, to share her knowledge and guide you through. Plus, it's a great way to meet like-minded individuals and enjoy a peaceful break in the middle of your week.
What to Bring:
- Comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor activities
- Sturdy footwear
- A water bottle
- Gardening gloves (if you have them, though we can provide them too!)
When and where:
We'll gather at the entrance to the Sustainable Garden each Wednesday from 1-3pm, which is located near the Roger Stevens Building.
How to Get Involved:
Sign up for a session! Whether you can attend every week or just drop in occasionally, all are welcome. For more information, feel free to contact us at sustainability@leeds.ac.uk or visit our webpage.
Take a break from your routine, get your hands dirty, and help make our campus a greener place!
