Give-It-a-Go Community Gardening Session

As part of national Student Volunteering Week, the Sustainability Service is hosting a ‘give-it-a-go’ event in support of local charity Caring Together.
Join us for an afternoon of gardening as we regenerate a pocket of green space in the heart of the Woodhouse community. Hot drinks and refreshments provided!
The plan for the day:
1) Clearing weeds and trimming back shrubs
2) Planting new edible-producing shrubs and herbs to provide a source of free and accessible food for the community
No experience is required, only enthusiasm! Gloves and tools will be provided. Volunteers are required to wear appropriate footwear and clothing (trainers/boots and water proof jackets recommended).
Complete the sign-up form below. Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Event will be postponed in the event of extreme or dangerous weather.
