The Sustainability Service are involved with the following events at the Student Education Conference this year:

Thursday 11th Jan, 11:40-12:30, Parallel session 1, Room 4

Anne Tallontire, Thom Cooper & William Young will be presenting on their LITE (Leeds Institute for Teaching Excellence) Fellowship 'Embedding a transformative vision of sustainability in student education'. This directly inputs into the University's Climate Plan Sustainable Curriculum principle.

Thursday 11th Jan, 11:40-12:30, Parallel session 1, Room 4 

Previous LUNSHE (Leeds Uni Network for Sustainability in HE) presenters Jonathan Busch, and Rachael Carrie will be joined by Sop Satchwell, Lauryn Richards & Jen Dyer will present on “Eco- hope” in a Sustainable Curriculum.

Thursday 11th Jan, 13:30-14:30, Poster Display

Jonas Cromwell, Pierre Philippe-Dechant, Clare Jackson & some of our Student Sustainability Architects will be reflecting on the growth of the LUNSHE (Leeds University Network for Sustainability in Higher Education), the importance of community in advancing the university's sustainable curriculum and the range of discussions and insights shared at these meetings to date.

Thursday 11th Jan, 13:30-16:30 Workshop 2

Kenny McDowall & Chrissi Nerantzi will host a workshop on 'Opening-up, connecting and adding social value, towards a new Discovery offer'; sustainability will be a key thread within this development.

Friday 12th Jan, Parallel Session 2, Workshop 7 11:45-12:45

Sonia Kumar & Danielle Williams will host a workshop 'Sharing and learning from insights on community- engaged learning'. This connects with the Sustainability Service's Social Impact strand and the Sustainable Curriculum principle.
