The main header reads '2021-22: Sustainability in Numbers'. Under the sub heading 'engagement' the infographic shows the following stats: 2 new Blueprint teams approved - 'Visionary' level achieved by Residential Services. 33 staff sustainability architects, 13 student sustainability architects and 2 student sustainability internships. 7 Bronze and 2 Silver LEAF certificates achieved, covering more than 30 labs. 387 staff sustainability training hours. 400 staff completed Sustainability in Practice training. 178,402 sustainability website views (up 15% year on year). 10,296 sustainability social media followers (up 10% year on year).

Under the heading 'community' the infographic shows the following stats: 1,856 households engaged through citizenship programme. 16.5 tonnes of items collected during changeover for redistribution in the community. 3,208 bags of donations collected through BHF banks at University residences. 145 community and civic partners worked with. 4,467 student engagements at the volunteering hub. 537 volunteering opportunities created in community schools and third sector partners. 190 hours of student volunteering on community sustainability projects. 98 Residential Services volunteer days through Yorkshire Wildlife Trust.

Under the heading 'Climate' the infographic shows the following stats: University of Leeds Climate Plan approved, committing an investment of £174m. Students and staff involved in the delivery of 49 COP26 events and exhibitions. University academics featured over 500 times in COP26 articles, interviews and quotes. GeoSolutions Leeds launched to lead the energy transition through interdisciplinary subsurface research. 677 bikes hired through the Bike Hub. 153 staff used the Cycle to Work purchase scheme (up from 88). 553 suppliers engaged through NETPositive supplier engagement tool.

Under the heading 'Sustainable Curriculum' the infographic shows the following stats: 369 sustainability related modules offered, completed by 11,000 students. 18 new Living Lab projects. 25 posters and 14 live online talks at the 2022 Student Sustainability Research Conference. Net Natives Think Student Award won by the LUBS Water Bottle Brief initiative.

Under the heading 'Biodiversity' the infographic shows the following stats: Bodington Fields natural flood management site completed. Silver Hedgehog Friendly Campus achieved. 16 biodiversity site surveys completed (versus 3 last year). 4 biodiversity monitoring transects covering 4km. 166 iNaturalist observations identifying 85 species. 3 peregrine falcon chicks hatched on Parkinson Tower. £5,000 Queen’s Anniversary Trust Platinum Jubilee Challenge prize to create campus mini meadows.

Under the heading 'Environmental Management' the infographic shows the following stats: 161 pieces of legislation reviewed. ISO 14001:2015 status successfully maintained. 36 EMS housekeeping audits completed.

Under the heading 'Sustainable Consumption' the infographic shows the following stats: 1,343 tonnes waste generated on campus – up from 602.5 tonnes following the impact of Covid-19 in 2020/21. 65% of waste recycled - up from 61% last year. 77.49 tonnes of items reused – up from 35.67 tonnes last year. Over a tonne of books saved from waste during the School of Computing’s building move. It closes with the web address sustainability.leeds.ac.uk and the University of Leeds logo.
