About me

Clare is the programme manager for the Leeds Sustainable Curriculum, a principle under our university Climate Plan. Leeds Sustainable Curriculum, is an ambitious programme of work established to increase students' engagement with sustainability and global challenges through their course, cocurricular and extracurricular opportunities. Clare also supports individual teams with their Blueprint sustainability action plans to help them to build sustainability into their operations and future ambitions.

Clare has led on significant change programmes and strategic projects across higher education and the cultural sector. This has included leading a strategic project team at Leeds Beckett to deliver complex programmes of work including the change of university name and the achievement of the Customer Service Excellence standard. At the University of Leeds Clare formally managed the Culture Forum North network, bringing together HE and cultural sector organisations and practitioners, and a collaborative higher level skills group across 13 HE providers whilst at Go Higher West Yorkshire. Within the cultural sector Clare has worked in both project management and curatorial roles.

Clare is a Leeds Becket Alumni and has previously gained Prince2 and Managing Successful Programme accreditation.
