Jane is the Sustainability Manager responsible for the Engagement team within the University of Leeds Sustainability Service. The Engagement team works proactively with staff, students and other internal and external partners to support and plan collaborative ways to embed sustainability at the University of Leeds.

Jane has over 20 years experience working in the education sector, firstly as a Geography teacher, followed by management at a nationwide educational charity, before joining the team in Educational Engagement  at the University of Leeds in 2019. Here she implemented a range of programmes and projects aimed at increasing the number under-represented groups accessing university courses within the Faculty of Environment. She began work with the Sustainability service in 2023, initially as Programme Officer for Living Labs, before becoming manager of the Engagement team in 2024.
